Dale Hoffman

VP of Product

Dale Hoffman is the VP of Product at FalconStor, focusing on secure data protection and AI solutions.

Before FalconStor, he was Director of Global Strategic Alliances at Veeam Software, building Sales Play solutions for ransomware products. At IBM, he held various roles, with the latest as Director of Product Management for VMware & Financial Service Cloud Solutions.

Dale holds a BSEE, MSEE, and an MBA with a finance and leadership focus. He has extensive experience in executive roles and product development across systems platforms and cloud solutions from his tenure at IBM.

Doug Balog

Strategic Executive Advisor

Doug Balog is a strategic executive advisor to FalconStor and an investor, board member, advisor and/or consultant to numerous other technology companies. Previously, Doug spent 37 years at IBM and was a top senior executive responsible for IBM’s Systems Business where he had full P&L responsibility for each of IBM’s storage, server and mainframe businesses.

Doug graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Computer Science and today serves as a member of Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) Dean’s Board of Advisors as well as a founding member of the Institute of Computational & Data Sciences’ (ICDS) External Advisory Committee.

Ernest Wan

Regional Sales Director APAC

Ernest brings a rich portfolio of over 20 years in the IT sector, distinguished by his expertise in sales and product management. He has made substantial contributions to FalconStor as the Regional Sales Director for over 15 years, implementing strategic initiatives and driving growth. Prior to FalconStor, Ernest held pivotal roles such as Distribution Manager at Schneider Electric’s IT Business (previously APC-MGE), Product Manager at Jardine OneSolution, and Solution Consultant at Patimas Computers Berhad. Throughout his career, Ernest has demonstrated a keen ability to merge technical acumen with sales strategy, making him a valuable asset to the FalconStor leadership team.

Paul Cinquegrane

Regional Sales Director, Americas

Paul is FalconStor’s Regional Sales Director for the Americas, and his team works with customers and partners on their pressing storage, backup, and infrastructure challenges. Paul started his professional career as a business consultant for PwC Consulting and IBM, and takes a consultative approach to understanding client issues. Paul has experience working with organizations in different industries, large and small. Regardless of the type, he starts first with the customer’s needs to ensure that a proposed solution addresses their goals. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Tepper School at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Science from The Pennsylvania State University.

Victoria Grey

Head of Marketing

Victoria has over 25 years of experience in leadership positions in B2B enterprise IT technology, particularly in data storage and management, with a passion for innovative and metrics-based marketing. She is responsible for worldwide marketing, including brand management, channel and product marketing, lead generation, digital marketing, and press and analyst relations. Previously she has held senior marketing roles contributing to the success in a number of companies, including Nexsan, HyperGrid, Quantum, EMC, and Legato.

Ron Morita

VP, Engineering

Ron is a hands-on engineering leader with strong business acumen. He has advised VCs, startups and mid-sized enterprises on investments, product strategy and digital transformation. Ron creates product strategies and roadmaps that maintains both strategic focus and drives near term revenue. Ron applies customer-centric design thinking, agile philosophy and engineering practice to deliver market leading products. He has deep technical expertise in Cloud, SaaS, Cyber Security, Data Protection, Networking, Storage, Systems and Virtualization. Ron was VP of Engineering at EMC Data Domain, NetApp, Newbridge Networks, HiFive Networks and ComMira. Ron graduated from Princeton University and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program.

Guy Berlo

Regional Sales Director EMEA + UK

Guy Berlo is the Managing Director for the EMEA Region. Prior to joining Falconstor, Mr. Berlo was the VP Sales & Operations for EMEA at ProphetStor Data Services active in the AI market space. Previously, Mr. Berlo was the Vice President and General Manager EMEA after starting up CEMEA and the subsidiary for FalconStor in 2001. Earlier in his career, Mr. Berlo was Managing Director for Switzerland and Distribution for Auspex Systems leader in the NAS storage space and was a Sales Manager for Managed Application Service at debis Systemhaus, wholly owned DC and hosting service by the Daimler Benz Group, now a part of T-Systems. In addition, Mr. Berlo held leadership roles at Evans & Sutherland covering the market space for virtual reality and simulation for the automotive and aerospace industry. Guy graduated as an Aerospace Engineer at the University of Stuttgart.

Clark Liddell

VP, Strategic Operations

Prior to joining FalconStor, Clark Liddell was the Director of Global Operations for Aurea Software. Clark has extensive experience managing and configuring cloud-based enterprise systems and building productive, globally-distributed teams. Earlier in his career, Clark was involved with launching and/or directed a number of technology-focused enterprises, including Aircraft Performance Systems, the originator of the first commercially viable, PC-based onboard airport performance system for commercial airlines. Clark began his career at Fortune 100 companies Lockheed Martin and FedEx. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Todd Brooks

CEO

Todd Brooks is Falconstor’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Falconstor, Mr. Brooks was the Chief Operating Officer at Aurea Software, and CEO of Update Software, a publicly traded company in Europe. Previously, Mr. Brooks was the Chief Operating Officer at Trilogy where he was responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the firm’s Automotive, Financial Services and Telecom, Technology & Media business units. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brooks co-founded and managed two technology consulting firms, including eFuel, an early innovator and leader in logistics optimization software for the automotive industry. In addition, Mr. Brooks held leadership roles at FedEx. Mr. Brooks earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, and currently serves on the Advisory Board at Virginia Tech’s Apex Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Abdul Hashmi

VP, Customer Success

Abdul Hashmi has over fifteen years’ experience in storage and virtualization technologies. During his tenure with FalconStor he has managed the certification team, Appliance, QA and Education teams. He has always loved working with our partners and customers in solving their complex issues. Currently, Abdul is leading a team of twenty talented support and professional services engineers, serving our partners and customers around the globe. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Farmingdale University and holds numerous specialized certifications such as Virtualization, Cloud and Networking.

Carter McCrary

CRO and CCO

Carter McCrary serves as Vice President, Global Revenue for Falconstor. Carter has over 30 years of business leadership in the technology industry as founder and executive of various companies. Previous to Falconstor, Carter was Executive Vice President at Quarri Technologies where he was responsible for Sales, Marketing and Operations. Prior to Quarri he was President and CEO of Energetic Solutions LLC, a company that designs and manufactures a chemical-free pest repellant. Before joining Energetic Solutions, Carter was the Chief Operating Officer for Absolute Software Corporation, a publicly traded security software company and market leader in computer theft recovery, data protection, and asset tracking. Previous to Absolute he was area Vice President and General Manager of Dell, Inc., where he led a $2.4B sales, marketing, and operations team of ~1,800 employees across multiple regions in seven different countries. Prior to Dell, Carter was President of Digital Axis, a large Value Added Reseller of computer products and consulting services.

Carter has also served on multiple boards and is currently a board member of Communities in Schools, a non-profit that helps empower students to stay in school and achieve in life.

Vincent Sita

CFO

Vincent joins FalconStor with extensive experience in financial management, business leadership and strategic planning. He is a results oriented professional whose career spans more than 20 years in financial roles both in private and public corporations across various industries. Prior to joining FalconStor, Vincent was Vice President of Finance and Administration for an Integrated Recycling Company, CFO of an Outerwear Apparel Retailer and VP Finance for a North American division of a Telecom and Home Services Company. Earlier in his career, Vincent spent many years in Telecom working for a Canadian Telecommunications company where he developed his expertise in areas such as FP&A, performance management, team building, operational excellence, and M&A. Vincent holds a Master of Business Administration from Université du Québec à Montréal, a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University. He is a CPA, CMA and a member of the Quebec order of CPAs.
