RecoverTrac supports various combinations of recovery for both physical and virtual machines: Physical-to-Physical (P2P), Virtual-to-Physical (V2P), Physical-to-Virtual (P2V), and Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V).
If recovering back to an identically configured physical machine (P2P or V2P), RecoverTrac will work regardless of whether or not your hardware is listed below.
RecoverTrac supports V2V where the virtual machines use physical VMware Raw Device Mapping (RDM), Hyper-V pass-through disks, or when the virtual machines are protected by FalconStor Disksafe.
While most systems from major hardware vendors (including Dell, Hitachi, HP, and IBM) can be used as recovery machines, FalconStor or a partner has explicitly tested the following server hardware for V2P recovery. If you wish to certify other hardware with RecoverTrac, contact FalconStor to request a formal certification process. We will make all efforts to comply but, due to time and resource constraints, we may be unable to accommodate all requests.
For information about servers certified with previous FalconStor product versions, check our Archived Recovery Hardware for FalconStor RecoverTrac page.
